Terry Macey clothes are the antithesis of fast fashion and they have a cherished longevity that comes with handmade, good quality clothing. The entire process from design, to pattern making and sewing, happens within our studio. Linen and wool from Ireland and Scotland line the studio walls; both are sustainable, natural and recyclable fabrics. Any waste from cut pieces are donated to schools or collected by crafts people and organisations, turning potential waste into more art.

We believe in goods with timeless quality, especially at a time when automation is at odds with genuine creativity. That's why we only offer items with rich stories that help you tell your own story. While giving makers on our marketplace the tools to make a living. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with my outfits, I love them, they arrived beautifully packaged, it was so exciting opening it. Started by Suzie Ford in 2020, ford & guy is passionate about playful and expressive fashion that is both sustainable and ethically handmade. We do our research to ensure we only use fabrics that have evidenced sustainable credentials. This limits the range of fabrics we can work with, but ensures that we do not greenwash you. As part of our goal to make sustainable fashion as accessible as possible, we also sell our designs as sewing patterns, with instructions for you to make up the items yourselves.

For over thirty years our family business has created stylish, timeless clothing in our Somerset studio, using only the best ethically sourced natural fabrics. What small scraps we do produce, we repurpose into other projects or pay to be fully recycled within the UK into loft insulation.
